Short

Well, that was painless. So far there has been just one post, 1 new user and one post by me.

Today I tried out the new Test version of Star Wars: The Old Republic and had a look at the new cooldown settings in the UI. Looks OK to me, however I never had a problem with the way it was implemented, thought it looked excellent.

Some people are just going to complain anyway, so many twats play MMOs, the game becomes a victim of its own success, just look at World of Warcraft 12 millions subs at its peak and 11 million of those are complete muppets!

Well, I guess for my next post I should have something a little bit longer, it's late, I am tired and think I need to change over my Crew Skills in SW:TOR.

Opening the Floodgates?

I have been contemplating opening up a section of my Guilds website forums to Guests, inviting them to make useful posts, possibly for us to arrange cross-faction events, or guild alliances on Basilisk Droid EU server.

The categories on the forum are all ready to go, but just opening up the Discuss feature for articles on the home page has already drawn in spammers with their inane babble and links to who knows where.

That made me re-think the decision, and now I am pondering "should I, shouldn't I". Once I announce over on my guild recruitment thread that we have an open forum for all to come and play with, do I really want the extra hassle, would it really be worth it.

Maybe a few hours away from the website will do me good, I can go and moderate some over on Kunena.

Tomorrow I will decide.
